Hi there, I am Viktoria and I am a painter/artist located in Prague, Czech Republic. I am from Germany and moved to Prague in 2020, rather by accident than planned.
Currently I paint on our kitchen table, which serves as my studio for now, since we live in a flat in Prague. This includes the occasional visit of our cat who wants to check on my progress and to give me some fluffy support.
My painting journey
I did not study art but always loved painting. I studied Biotechnology and am now working in clinical studies. Finally, in 2023, I started to attend a weekly art course, focusing on oil paintings and, since then, I am constantly learning and extending my repertoire – knowledge as well as paintings.
Painting gives me peace of mind. I love to paint things that are dear to people, to you – things like family, friends, pets or places and things that have a meaning for you.
Apart from the commissions I am doing I am also exhibiting original artwork on different events and at different locations in Prague (and sometimes elsewhere, see Events).
